Mayors in Action Guidelines for Training and Tutoring

Guideline for Tutoring and Peer Support Activities for Coordinators and Supporters (C&S):

Intended for the C&S and LGs as aid in creating new partnerships in order to facilitate the sharing and learning experiences by focusing on the tools and mechanisms that can be used to foster their capacity building. These specific guidelines provide answers to the question: "How to provide support for the C&S and LGs through the form of coaching schemes aimed at their capacity building?" Guideline for Coaching Activities for Coordinators & Supporters (C&S):

Aims to provide essential information about key stakeholders and their important role in the process of the implementation energy and climate policy on the local level as well as the tools and mechanisms that can be used in related activities. These specific guidelines provide answers to the question: "How to provide support for the C&S through the form of coaching schemes aimed at their activities?" Online Training

The Covenant capaCITY project assists Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) development in Europe - from motivation, planning, implementation, to monitoring and evaluating.
Its capacity building programme includes an easy learning programme for local governments leaders and municipal staff) and a ‘train-the-trainer’ programme to extend the support offered to actively support cities and towns in 15 countries – step-by-step rolling-out their Local Climate and Energy Actions.

Training packages for Covenant Supporters and Coordinators

The challenges raised by C&S range across the whole spectrum of the CoM process. The challenge for the ENERGY FOR MAYORS project is to see how well the consortium and SSts in general can help address these challenges, and propose a range of methodologies that can generally help local governments active in the CoM, or generally in need for guidance.
